Wisconsin's Premier WineryShop now
Since 2009, we have been producing wine at home for personal use and to be enjoyed by our friends. We received an overwhelming response to our wine and decided in December of 2013 to open the first winery in Ashwaubenon, a village of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Mona Rose Winery, as named after my wife, Monica Rose, is set in a residential area on a popular bike and walking trail. Our fermentation room is located on site and open for public viewing. We invite sampling the wines as they progress before they are bottled.
As an accredited winemaker, I enjoy the opportunity to have the choice of deciding the wine's style and taste profile. Our raw product comes from California. I incorporate different yeast, tannins and nutrients into my fermentations and barrel my red wines into either American, French or Hungarian oak barrels. At Mona Rose Winery, we try to produce wines more unique to our area such as Tempranillo and Viognier, as well as, red and white blends.
